The TILOS project was presented in the CIGRE Session 2018 (26-31 August, Paris). Known as the Paris Session, it is the world’s leading global event for sharing power system expertise, taking place every two years. HEDNO representatives Mr Konstantinos Kaousias (project manager) and Mr Themistoklis Xygkis prepared an article of 10 pages (code number C6-204), which provides an overview of the project and was included in the conference proceedings, and presented a related e-poster during a 4-hour poster session about distribution systems and dispersed generation. Moreover, they participated in the group discussion meeting about energy storage in distribution systems promoting the TILOS solution for remote, non-interconnected electrical systems. Overall, the TILOS project was warmly accepted and stimulated the participants’ interest. Hosting more than 3200 delegates and 5000 industry participants from 90 countries, the CIGRE Session was an excellent opportunity to convey the advancements and innovative features of the TILOS project.
